Takashi Miike 12:52 I see you are a fan of Frank Warren. Was the guy who shot him ever found?

Whyte came in far too heavy . To have any chance against fury you need to able to slip the jab carrying 18 stone it was never happening .

Fury says he couldn't spend his £100m if he tried, so he doesn't need the dosh.
Possibly true, but he is about to have his 7th kid and I bet they could get through £14m each without much trouble.
Irrespective of that, Fury is a genuine boxing fan and will be unable to resist a unification bout and the £50m it would bring him.

Sure. There’s a value to it but it starts with believing you can win a fight.
If I was as wealthy as him I’d give up now and enjoy life.

Of course they fight for money! Regardless of how many millions they already have.

When you have gazillions of quids why would you fight unless its pride?
No way would you fight for money

Fury kept Whyte off so easily but it was a bloody dull fight. Great final punch though but Povetkin's was better.

Re: Fury vs Whyte

Fury was in complete control throughout and Whyte couldn’t get close, understandably so. A step too far for Whyte and he seemed happy enough to turn up and get a big pay day.
The only real fight left in the division is Fury vs Usyk and I think it will happen. The money available will be too much for Fury to turn down.
Fury vs Joshua would create obvious interest but it would be totally one-sided. Joshua has had a major result in his career, been managed brilliantly and earned a ridiculous amount of money despite his limitations.

Anytime I’ve heard Lennox speak on the radio I’ve thought it was Andy Townsend….did Lennox spend some time in Ireland?

Re: Fury vs Whyte

It wasn’t a poor fight
Whyte was trying to work out how the fuck he could get to Fury and Fury was gradually wearing him down and looking for a shot
All very predictable

Fury gets better every fight. Whyte to passive but the ko is a magnificent shot sadly the only decent punch of a poor fight

Am I just living in a nostalgic rose tinted world or was boxing in the late 80s / early 90s a bit more dynamic than this? I found that fight quite uninspiring really.

That was an absolute masterclass. Whyte isn’t a polished boxer by any means but he isn’t as shit as Fury made him look tonight. He gets better and better. I hope he doesn’t pack it in
